My wine story:
I did an internship at Moon Valley Circuits in Sonoma Valley, CA for a month, working on the wine press electronic/circuits, mainly at Domain Chandon, but also at some other wineries.
Crete for a week. Wines are not so good, but Uzo is quite good.
Buenos Aires, Argentina for ten days (Malbec and Torrontes). Wines are perfect with the local food.

We go to South of France by train and visit the French Riviera and fall in love with Rose de Provence wine.

Gina and I get married and go to Italy for our honey moon. We go to Venezia, Firenze, Rome and Sorrento. In Firenze we do a bicycle tour of the chianti region. Very educative.

We go to the south west of France, from Toulouse on the Canal du Midi to the Mediterranneean in sete. We prefer the Corbieres to the Minervois. We visit a young winery where they have been making wine for only 900 years...since the roman occupation.

We drove to Italy, and spend a week in Abano Terme, Veneto. The whites are excellent, but we love the Prosseco's.

We drove to South of France again, and take the Napoleon's road...and try all the wine on the way (Cotes du Rhones, and Savoie wines)
We end up in Juan Les Pins for the summer and enjoy the Cotes de Provence wines.

We drive through the Castles and wines of the Loire valley for a week. We love Vouvray.

We go to Vico di Gargano in Puglia, Italy. Strong wines, but delicious.

Zulu Natale and Cape Town, South Africa, wine tour of Frankehook for 3 days.

Basque Country. The wines are excellent especially on the French side.

Mombasa, Kenya, Africa...Mead wines are awful, but South African wines are everywhere, good, and cheap.

we cruise around the Mediterranean and try Spanish wines in Barcelona, and Baleares island, then Tunisia (Sidi Brahim), Malta, and Italy (Rome)

we cruise the mediterranean again, but the other way this time, starting in Italy, Greece, Turkey, and Dubrovnic on the way back. They have pretty good wines there...Big but good.

We went to Bali. Their white wines are very decent. The Reds are just OK.

Tour of some Greek Islands' wineries, Santorini (they grow grapes in circles low to the ground with the grapes in the middle to protect it from the strong winds), Rhodes, and Cyprus, and south part of Turkey.

Northern Spain, food and wine tour for two weeks of all major wine AVA's including Priorat and Rioja
Tour of Israel. Cosher wines are good, in spite of the low intervention during fermentation.

Tour of Italy for 12 days, from Veneto to Calabria and Sicily, passing through Tuscany
