Snakes Galore

With the monsoon starting and the rain pouring, snakes are coming out every where.

We saw a big Diamond-Back Rattlesnake (Crotalus atrox - Venomous) and later a big Gopher Snake (Pituophis Catenifer - Non Venomous) in the vineyard. Both had a length of about 5 feet.

Both are enemies and if they meet, one will die. I hope the Gopher Snake wins.

Pléthore de serpents

Avec la mousson qui commence et les pluies torrentielles, les serpents sortent de partout.

Nous avons vu un grand serpent à sonnettes Diamond-Back  (Crotalus atrox - Venimeux) et plus tard une grande couleuvre "Gopher" (Pituophis Catenifer - Non Venimeux) dans le vignoble. Tous les deux avait une longueur d'à peu près un mètre cinquante.

Ils sont enemies et s'ils se rencontrent, un mourra. J'espère que la couleuvre gagne.
