Thunderstorms season

We had a bad thunderstorm last week with winds at 55 mph. We are still fixing the damages.

Happily it was the day we harvested the Syrah and it was safe in the garage.

The vineyard did not suffer too much.

The house was fine, we didn't loose power, but Portal and Rodeo were without power for 2 days.

And there's more storms to come.

La saison des orages

Nous avons eu un orage très fort la semaine dernière avec des vents à presque 90 km/h. Nous travaillons toujours aux réparations.

Heureusement c'était le jour après la vendange du Syrah, et il était bien à l'abris dans le garage.

Le vignoble n'a pas trop souffert.

La maison a survécu, nous n'avons pas eu d'interruption d'électricité, mais Portal et Rodeo ont été sans énergie pour 2 jours.

Et il y a plus d'orages encore à venir.
