Are the birds a problem in the vineyard?

At first, I said "NO". The birds can have some grapes, as long as they eat the bugs.

But when I saw what they can do to a vine, I changed my mind.

Some vines completely eaten. The nightmare!

It is partially my fault as I didn't managed the canopy well enough to protect the grapes.

Next year, we'll use nets.

Les oiseaux sont-ils une nuisance pour le vignoble?

A première vue, "Non". Les oiseaux peuvent manger quelques raisins, tant qu'ils mangent également les insectes.

Mais quand j'ai vu les dégâts qu'ils pouvaient faire à une vigne, j'ai changé d'opinion.

Des vignes entièrement dévorées. L'horreur!

C'est partiellement ma faute, je n'ai pas bien géré la canopée pour protéger les grappes de raisin.

L'année prochaine, nous utiliserons des filets contre les oiseaux.
